Books

For those wishing to learn more about the tarot, the following books are recommended. It is also suggested that students study the Qabala alongside the tarot as they are so closely linked:

• Qabalistic Tarot, by Robert Wang - Compares different decks and easy to read.
• The Key to the Tarot, by A.E. Waite - Author of one of the most popular decks, which others take from.
• Book of Thoth, by Aleister Crowley - Guide to the thoth deck and thelema based.
• The Chicken Qabala, by Lon Milo Duquette - To gain a deeper understanding of the hebrew and Qabala that is the foundation of modern tarot.

• Thoth - Thelemic base and has some changes to card names and order in the major arcana
